Choosing your Dubai Wedding Photographer

How to select the right Dubai Wedding Photographer for you .

Choosing the right Wedding Photographer can be a difficult decision, it is one of the many things that you must organise as part of your wedding day, yet arguably the most important. The venue, the flowers, the dress, the cake, the guests and most importantly the both of you will all be captured in your photographs and will be looked back upon in years to come in your wedding album and wedding video.

Our simple checklist below can be used to help the bride and groom in their search for a Dubai Wedding Photographer and Videographer and hopefully avoid some common pitfalls when making your final selection:

- Style of Wedding Photography: The photographic style might be the most important aspect of selecting your wedding photographer depending on your priorities. Do you want traditional wedding photography or a more contemporary feel to your finished photos? Do you like the more candid photojournalistic type pictures which relies on less posed shots and more natural pictures throughout the day? Deciding on the wedding photography style you like may help you chose your wedding photographer.

- Wedding Photography Experience: What kind of wedding photography experience do they have? Are they really wedding photographers? A photographer might have some nice sample photos on their website, but have they actually photographed a whole wedding, and are the photographs they are displaying their own? Unfortunately there are too many people who will pose as wedding photographers having not actually done any or much wedding photography, using a handful of images as examples. When you meet with your wedding photographer, ask to see real examples of whole weddings that they have photographed.

- Meeting your Wedding Photographer: Its important to meet with your wedding photographer, you need to find out if they are someone that you will get along with, after all you will be spending the majority of your wedding day with them. Don’t be afraid to ask about their usual appearance for weddings, what they would normally be wearing for weddings. You don’t want your dream Dubai Wedding ruining by someone who turns up wearing jeans and a T-shirt. It is also very important to know that the person you meet will be the person who is actually going to be the one who will be turning up on the day. Make sure that you know who it will be, that you have met face to face and that you have seen and are happy with their work.

- Examples of Previous Weddings: Ask to see examples of weddings that they have done recently, make sure that they are able to provide full weddings rather than just individual images.

- The Price: Check firstly if they are within your budget, if they are more expensive ask yourself - are they worth the difference? Make sure that you understand the full cost of everything, including prints, albums and any extra charges for hourly costs for additional time.

- What you get and When: Make sure you understand what is included in your package, and also what isn’t. Does your photographer provide you with a DVD with your images or do you have to pay more for prints and digital copies? How many hours attendance is included in your package? How many final pictures should you expect to receive and how long does it take? Many questions that you should know before making your final decision, you don’t want to find out after the wedding that you will only be receiving a handful of images and being charged a fortune for any additional copies.

- Deposits and Payments: Find out what the deposit requirements are and when final payment is required. It is also worth asking what happens with cancellations or if the photographer cannot make it, just image if the photographer does not have any back up in case of emergency and you are left without a photographer.

Other questions to ask:
• Have you shot a wedding at my location before?
• Do you have an assistant?
• Do you have backup equipment and is it the same quality as the primary equipment?
• What time will you begin and how long will you stay until?
• Can you work from a photo checklist that we create?

Choosing Razzleberry Photography as your Dubai Wedding Photographer .

A Wedding is a day of great celebration and a time to relax and enjoy with your family and friends. The time leading up to the wedding day should be full of excitement too, not stress about the things you have to organise and worry about. I understand that Weddings in Dubai and Abu Dhabi can be difficult to plan and can also be expensive, so my aim is to keep things simple and take any stress out of choosing your Wedding Photographer and Wedding Video. I want your Wedding to be an enjoyable experience and your experience with me should be stress free from the initial booking to final delivery of your pictures.

Once a booking is confirmed, the date is agreed and the diary is blocked out for the entire day. I do not work on other shoots, the day is dedicated exclusively for your Wedding only. I focus on quality of service to meet your exacting needs. My Wedding Package includes everything that is required for full photographic coverage of your wedding day. However, I am more than happy to provide you with a bespoke service which is tailored to suit your individual requirements.

Our style is to mix contemporary with reportage, producing stunning unique signature pictures combined with candid natural ones taken throughout the day. We have Wedding Photography experience at most of the venues in Dubai so more than likely we will know the location, this is an advantage as we will know in advance what the best places are for some private bride and groom pictures.

Please use the contact page to get in touch and to enquire about prices. I am available to meet up for a coffee and a chat about your wedding day and discuss any questions you might have before any booking is confirmed so that you are able to feel comfortable with your photographer before your Wedding. I find that this is a good way to get to know each other, and unlike some photographers, you know that when you meet me I will be the one who will be actually there on the day.
